These photos have been taken here and there in a few different locations in Cambodia. I like the green-type views of Srok Khmer a lot because it’s not only calm and nice but it also represents the spirit of Khmer.

According to legend, a 14th-century woman named Penh found sacred Buddhist objects in the nearby river and placed them here on the small hill. A temple was built to house the relics and the city was named for it – Phnom Penh means “Penh’s Hill.” (http://www.sacred-destinations.com/cambodia/phnom-penh-wat-phnom)
